The Role
We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help grow Threada by bringing in new customers and building long-term relationships.
This is a new business role first and foremost. You’ll be out in the field, speaking to businesses, identifying opportunities, and converting them into repeat customers.
You won’t be sat behind a desk waiting for leads. You’ll be creating them.
About Threada
Threada is the next step in custom workwear and branded clothing.
Built from the ground up by the team behind Nationwide Workwear and Trade Embroidery, we’ve reworked the entire ordering experience to make it simpler, faster and far less clunky.
We produce everything in-house in the UK, with no minimum order quantities, fast turnaround times, and a strong focus on quality and consistency.
We’re not trying to be another “workwear shop”.
We’re building a modern platform for how businesses actually order branded clothing.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Generating new business through outbound activity, networking and referrals
· Visiting prospects and customers across your region
· Identifying opportunities for repeat and bulk workwear supply
· Preparing and sending quotes using our internal systems
· Managing your own pipeline and keeping CRM up to date
· Working closely with our in-house production team to deliver orders smoothly
· Building long-term relationships that turn into consistent monthly revenue
What We’re Looking For
· Proven experience in sales, business development or a similar role
· Comfortable with outbound sales and generating your own opportunities
· Strong communication skills and confidence meeting clients face-to-face
· Self-motivated and target-driven
· Organised and able to manage your own pipeline
· Full UK driving licence
Bonus (not essential):
· Experience in workwear, print, uniforms or a related industry
· Existing network of business contacts
